Raycar is Fully Equipped with Complete Machining Capabilities

Our Puma and Daewoo CNC Lathes with 10 and 12 inch chucks permit easy set-up for low volume jobs, as well as, high volume turning capacity. Our lathes have the capability to turn up to approximately 16 inches in diameter and fitting parts up to approximately 50 inches long. Our experienced operators are easily able to hold tight tolerances of +/- .001.

Our modern Haas VF-3 CNC Vertical Mill with a fourth axis and a 12 inch chuck assists our Haas VF-2 Vertical Mill with all milling and drilling operations. One of our machining centers’ has a table size of 40 X 20 inches offering 24 tool changes. These machines are fully tooled with carbide tooling. Our capable operators have the ability to hold boring tolerances of +/-.0002.

Our fully trained CNC Machine operators have the ability to program, set-up, and run complete jobs. This gives Raycar Gear & Machine the ability to turn around machine parts in a fraction of the time compared to smaller machine shops.

Raycar Gear & Machine uses OneCNCXR3 software for both 2D and 3D CNC programming and tooling design. We can receive and support digital datasets in all standard file formats, saving us time and you money. Our extensive experiences with CAD/CAM allow us to set-up and program jobs in minutes instead of hours, providing our customers with the flexibility they need for quick responses to critical requirements. We are committed to state-of-the-art technology to make sure our service remains the best in the business.

All ID and OD grinding is also done at Raycar. Our Toyoda CNC OD Grinder allows us to be efficient and competitive on OD grinding. Our ID Grinders allow us to perform all ID grinding operations in house. In house operations also enable Raycar to more easily maintain scheduled delivery dates.
